The shards of the old altright's anger at Trump's victory puzzled me, but I think I get it now.

They believed that if Trump won it would marginalize them for another four years. I see their point, but it's irrelevant.

They were already marginalized and dead by 2018, after Charlottesville shattered their network and they went nevertrump when Trump revealed his lack of power level.

Look no further than Warren Balogh and Eric Striker's own election night Modern Politics stream for proof. In the critical first hour when the results were coming in (when Trump pretty well locked it up) they had around 1100 viewers total.

These guys are offshoots of TRS, which once boasted a listenership of 100,000+ a week.

@judgedread Stream numbers and podcasts are vastly different mediums. Podcasts can be consumed at will whereas streams you actually have to be at the website at a certain time. Also, when it comes to streaming, out of a million subs you'll be lucky to get a few thousand concurrent viewers. Seriously, go on twitch and look at the ratio of current viewers to subs. Also I think a lot of people who you'd call alt right have jobs and maybe even families who take precedence over some stream where Striker says the same stuff he's always said.

Counter Currents survey revealed the facts: Leftist ideas are loathed by men of the right. Nazbol / nigger hating leftism is a total non-starter in the US. Maybe somewhere else. Striker should go there, learn the language and stop commenting on US politics.
