That's his point. There was never a need for white american descriptor - all americans were naturally white.
If one were black or oriental, you were an african or chinese who lived in america.

Agree. We better make everything explicit when writing it down.
The founding fathers left a lot to be interpreted and that clearly fuck everyone in the ass as the population grew dumber and weaker.
