Let me reinforce that most vegetarian restaurants are simply indian restaurants.

@Zeb @jeremiah are there that many indian restaurants in iceland of all places?

@genmaicha @jeremiah
Hehe...yes, because despite its size, Iceland only has a population 390.000 people. Since this is amount / million of people, that means Iceland has around 10-15 indian restaurants.
It checks out.

@Zeb @jeremiah looking at downtown Reykjavík on google maps, it appears that half or more of the vegetarian restaurants are indian, so you're correct

@genmaicha @jeremiah
Yes..I was not being racist (in this case), it is just a way the people try to deceive us with statistics.
There are a lot of indian restaurants in Europe and most of them are actually VERY good due to european food sanitation rules.

@Zeb @genmaicha assuming those rules are followed saars.

You can have all the regulations you want, but no one in the kitchen has to wash their hands after wiping their ass with them.

There was a place in my hometown with the extremely creative name "India Garden." My brother's wife insisted on it, and of the three times I went, I got severe food poisoning twice.

You can take the streetshitter out of India, but you can't take the India out of the streetshitter.

My condolences. I was lucky enough to never have those. It probably got a lot worse after covid.

@Zeb @genmaicha the events i refer to are very pre-covid. I don't think covid substantially changed 10,000 years of streetshitter culture or habits in the hygiene or social values department.
