This is after spending the last 30 years preaching college as the only way you can get anywhere in life.
You're literally going to be working at Mcdonalds for the rest of your life if you don't go to college. Thats what they told us.

I went through that but I don't blame the boomers for that advice (although they are the plague of current society).
The world they grew up in COMPLETELY changed, it basically disappear so fast that they couldn't keep up, almost no generation would have had the intellect and fortitude to face the reality of waking up on a different country one day.
Even today, men still follow the rules of a world that no longer exists, that are actively hurting and destroying their lives.

Examples:
- Men still get married, although we have a new social contract that completely crushes and destroy the life of any man that does it.
- Men still go to work on-site, away from their family and kids, although most jobs can be done in a hybrid manner or fully remote.
- Men don't work as freelancer or have their own small business, where they can deduct all their expenses and save thousands in taxes - "stability" is an illusion.
- Men are stuck in big cities with no motorcycle.
