🇺🇸🇬🇹⚡️ — Guatemala has agreed to allow joint military operations with the U.S. against drug trafficking groups inside its borders, NYT reports.

➡️ President Bernardo Arévalo approved cooperation including airstrikes and other military actions during a recent call with Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, with operations potentially beginning next month.

➡️ The Pentagon is also seeking similar arrangements with Honduras as part of broader pressure on Mexico to accept joint counterdrug operations — something Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has repeatedly rejected.

➡️ The broader strategy aims to normalize a larger American military presence across Latin America and is backed by senior Trump advisers including Stephen Miller and Pentagon official Joseph M. Humire.

Latin America is pretty easy to deal with: they're a subscription service.
You pay them, they will do it.

Afterwards, you just need to keep paying an ever increasing price until you give up. Then they go back to what they were doing before and laugh at the gringos.
