Apple introduced a bug in os 27 beta that breaks the startup disk utility (boot picker still works) and asahi Linux team responded by disabling their installer when run from macOS rather than just letting Apple fix a bug in their beta software that affects macOS too

I’ve long been concerned with how they force you to use a remotely hosted installer to install asahi Linux and enforce software versions (originally they required os 12, then they changed it to require os 13 and now they have blocked macOS entirely)

And now they have completely blocked the ability to install Linux on a MacBook
I just know everyone is going to blame this on Apple despite it being the asahi Linux installer itself that has been updated to block running on macOS

If only there was another linux distro one could use...

@[email protected] if only people used bsd or permafrost instead of sticking to the linux cult...

Yep. It's completely pointless to try to enforce shit in people's pc where one can always use another operating system.
But hey, they are old and don't know how the internet works...so here we are. It will never stop really.
