France has a million little pressure-points with which to respond. Perhaps they might put an op-ed in Le Figaro declaring circumcision is barbaric and should be banned...

Whatever is their best move, they certainly know it, and they're certainly taking appropriate action. Geopolitics is, after all, their forte.
