so at the end of the second ecco the dolphin game, this huge alien queen monster is dropped off in the prehistoric era with dinosaurs and shit, it's no longer the scariest creature around so it has to end up evolving with the rest of the planet's life and gets integrated into our ecosystem to the point where it doesn't effect the future at all
