@VooDooMedic Yeah I took TFM's advice and bought 6 months worth, sorry now I didn't buy more in the intervening period.

@VooDooMedic You might want to wait till you have say 30 coins. The tubes from Perth mint have a seal that best left alone. Shows they are mint condition should you ever wish to sell or trade them for gold. I'd leave the seal attached to the tube and get a couple loose coins just to get a feel for them. I used to give them to family at birthdays and Xmas presents when they were $50 ounce.

@VooDooMedic OK, I thought it was 500 ounces, must have been 5,000.

@VooDooMedic They're a bit slow on shipping out at the moment due to the huge demand over the last month coupled with the shop closing down over Xmas, but apparently they are taking on more staff and once they're trained up the backlog should ease plus the boss is in Germany buying up tonnes of silver, so should see the stock issue problem diminish.

@VooDooMedic Yeah I'm all about the lowest cost per ounce and Bullion Now tends to be the best value, (when they have stock). If you log onto their website you'll find the 500+ pre-order kangaroos that they posted yesterday are all gone.

@VooDooMedic The kangaroos are pre-order, this means they are on the way from Perth mint, but not in the shop. Even if you ask for immediate postage, they won't get to you till they arrive and all the orders in front of you have been filled.

@VooDooMedic Price has moved up slightly since last night. 40 coins would be closer to $5200 plus postage.

@VooDooMedic I think you'll find postage will be around $25.

@VooDooMedic The kangaroos come in tubes of 25, so recommend you order 50 otherwise you'll end up with 1 tube and 15 loose coins.

@VooDooMedic Bullion Now just put up some 1oz silver kangaroos at a better price than any of the other sites. The coins have been selling out within a day for the past few weeks, though this may no longer be the case given the price fall. If you are just going to buy one, just put it on hold until you have enough to make it worth the postage, (I wouldn't pay more than $1 per coin in postage). bullionnow.com.au/product-cate
