@Zeb hey man, it's me. I made an account lol. I wanted to talk more about visas and couldn't see an option to send a DM so figured I'd just say hi here. So, first question do I need to provide proof of income and/or any bank/financial bullshit on a TOURIST visa? If I'm making a thousand a month and as a tourist am basically living in a different country every 3 months can I do that without government fascist constraints? I hope on a tourist visa I wouldn't have an issue doing this.
@Zeb you mentioned people from the UK living in spain on welfare, and as such I figured it would be relevant to inquire more about that. Also, could I stay at an Airbnb for the entirety of my 3 month stay? If so that means I can basically just live freely like a badass changing countries every 3 months while on welfare encase I get unemployed lol
@bob666
Yes, there's no restriction on Airbnb. You can stay the entire 3 months...I did many times.
Yes, that's exactly what it means, traveling every 3 months between countries. It's pretty fun, I did a long time after my divorce, knew half the globe essentially.
1000$ in welfare, you can live like a king latin america if you're a minimalist.
@Zeb hell yeah, this is great. Now here's the thing, I'm planning on working a remote job while living in latin america as a tourist. Is this a good idea? I mean, I would assume there's no issue. Especially since people from the UK living on UK welfare don't get in trouble living abroad, if somebody were to try to get a local job I can DEFINITELY see an issue but if I'm making money online how would anyone know? I think this is the smartest play for me to be honest but I wanna kno ur thoughts!
@bob666
There's no way for anyone to know. You're worried about nothing. The only thing Canada can do is request a proof of life from you, which you said they don't.
If your money is from youtube adsense, they report it to the IRS. Are you worried about losing your welfare or taxes?
I recommend EVERY man who works online to do that, travel around. It's awesome and being a white canadian, the world is literally your oyster. It couldn't be better.
@Zeb the last time I spoke to somebody from the welfare office was 5 years ago, so thankfully I know I won't be annoyed by them. Plus I can't see anything crazy happening unless I get drafted into some kind of war by the cucknadian government but I'll worry about that if that actually happens LOL btw very based Murdoch Murdoch Dr. Pierce profile pic my man. Galaxy MM88 was one of the best episodes, too haha
@bob666 I didn't know about Pierce until I watched Murdoch Murdoch. I then went and read his books and listened to his podcasts, the man is a genius and he warned us about everything happening today. He's awesome.
If I were you, I would apply to the digital nomad visa in argentina with a work contract and your bank balance for the 6 months. Then start traveling around latin america every 3 months after that. Simply buy a car/motorcycle and you're set.
@Zeb thanks man, I just don't want to lose my welfare lol but in any event I should be fine regardless, whether on a tourist visa or not. Btw if I don't currently have a canadian drivers license (they're super hard to get and I have been lazy lol which isn't good on my part) do you know if it's possible to get an international drivers license abroad? If not I'll just get the license here first
btw just to be clear, if someone wanted to be a tourist for a full year on welfare it's A ok? lol
@bob666 Don't go there without a driver's license. You need a resident visa to get a driver's license - you can't get one on a temporary visa.
YES! Just be sure you don't lose your welfare back home - if they schedule a proof of life check, go back. The good thing is, when you go back, it resets the timer!
@bob666 Get both A and B driver's license by the way. Motorcycles are cheaper and mandatory in bigger cities.
@Zeb don't worry, if I'm ever asked for a proof of life check I'd go back. In any event, I'll get right on the license. You've been so kind in answering my questions, thanks man. I'm 25 so really young and I wanna experience the world lol. Glad I can have fun in latin america, btw does all of this apply to asia as well? The welfare tourist visa etc? I'm sure it does but I just want to be absolutely sure lol. Also I'm a 6'2 tall white canadian so yeah I have a feeling I'd be received well abroad
@bob666 Asia is a bit different because the culture is very different, but the principle is the same. The rules are the same but in some countries, like China, don't grant tourist visa on arrival (the stamp).
25 is the best age to travel. I wish I had done that when I was that young instead of tried for the family and kids thing. I would have been legit a millionaire by now.
LOL I'm 5'8 and I never had any issue with women in latin america. You're white AND 6'2, it will be wild.
@bob666 Be careful with the women there, they WILL love bomb you hard. Don't fall for it, always be aware they see you as a meal ticket and you'll be fine.
Most important: never bring them back home.
@Zeb LOL don't worry I would never bring a foreign woman back home. They'll go crazy due to the western feminism. You cannot take a woman out of her natural habitat or she'll turn into a feminist slampig very quick lol
@Zeb I'm so excited LOL I love latin and asian girls but I live in a remote part of canada and haven't banged outside my race. BIG sad. That said, I have also saved up over 5000 canadian encase of emergency, and hopefully by the end of next year I'll have saved up ten grand. Even still, 5 grand can is A LOT in latin america. Thanks again for all the help!
And what you said about Pierce is true, I listened to so many hours of his work and am glad MM introduced me to him. Extremely based man.
@bob666 Hey man, glad you joined. No, as a tourist you don't need to prove anything: they might ask you where you'll be staying and they ask you about a credit card.
Yes, you can live in different countries every 3 months no problem. The issue is accommodation since you can't rent a place long-term. Airbnb is the best option.
On the tourist visa you can't work or get a permanent residence, otherwise you won't get a have a problem at all with anything.
