@freepatriot This is a very complicated topic. But it comes down to a few important points.
Cuba is socialist, run by the communists.
Cuba is under embargo like no other country
So called "communists" in the US don't really want communism/socialism. They don't want to work in cooperative companies and factories. They want the rich to exist, and just pay for everything, so they wouldn't have to work.
(Real) Socialism in the US would work better than in Cuba, because Cuba can't be self-sufficient. US can.
