Love of family (provided it's reciprocal), sure. That's no panacea against greed. Just look at the typical aftermath of any funeral, with family falling out over dividing the spoils of inheritance. Love of race? Lol. Please... Just because someone shares the same skin colour doesn't mean they've earned my affection. If they have compatible cultural attitudes, then I'm happy to respect them whomever they are. But if they behave badly, their skin colour sure as well won't help them dodge the $0.25 cents of lead they have coming their way.

We conquered the primitive Indians and raised them up through ten thousand years of progress. Without our enlightenment, there would be a fraction of their number and they'd still be eating one another.
To refer to the Indians as anywhere close to a peer to European explorers is dishonest. You can look through all the Indian books from before our discoveries and learn from their great thinkers. Find an Indian text pre-contact and compare it with any European book.
In short, we made them humans. They owe Europeans everything. Everything.
I'm also not talking open borders. I'm talking a literal invasion that's happened within our lifetime. People who arrived at the behest of whom? Who asked for the Haitians? Nobody wants Haitians.
These people all need to be returned. Maximum authoritarianism is required for the invaders, and those who aid and abet them.
