They were the Pharisees and Sadducees that Jesus railed against (he wouldn't have done so if he was one of them) and they are the people currently calling themselves "Jews" today. Modern day Jewish writings even admit that the Jewish people are descended of the Edomites.

You’ve used “Abrahamic” pejoratively a few times - the implication being that other Abrahamic worldviews (ie Islam, Judaism) outside Christianity are more or less equally faulty.
Do you happen to have any arguments attacking Islam, from your position ? Assuming a third party seeks your advice and insights in choosing between Abrahamic faiths - what do you recommend ?
