You mean just like Los Angeles and San Francisco and Chicago and Detroit and Baltimore and parts of New York? It's almost like every single one of those places is run by a commie that's intentionally letting everything fall to shit.

Oh wait a minute. That IS what's happening.

???

Maybe.

Though the pic you displayed is small, the images I found when I looked it up were river big.

I think it's Barton Springs I'm remembering. It was big, but small by comparison.
It’s that time of year when it’s half blanket, half fan. Some of you will get it

@Evil_Bender @rredball @freepatriot I’m not even sure I understand the intended meaning of it. The South was relatively less industrialized and more agricultural - so the yanks are right to go slaughter them ?

@JulioReich @Evil_Bender @rredball @freepatriot I’m not even from the South, but I still teach my kids that only the devil really won that war.

You don't need to be from the south to be able to appreciate the truth. But it helps...

>Those mean plantation owners are taking care of wayward niggers!

Even the premise that blacks were mistreated is ridiculous. They were disciplined for breaking rules. But you didn't senselessly beat farm equipment until it couldn't work.

@Evil_Bender @freepatriot @rredball In retrospect, I had a total of one school teacher before college, that even tried to balance perspectives on the issue. The more I think about it, the dirtier it makes me feel; like I was daily being slimed by the most disgusting sort of sell-out people.

West of Austin there's a place called dead man's hole. The remains of Yankee sympathizers can still be found there.
I lived in Austin for a couple of years when I was a dumbass little kid dragged there by my parents who saw it as some kind of hippie paradise. From what I remember of it, in those days (late 70's to early 80's), it was.

Some of my fondest memories are from there. Willie's picnics, and swimming in... what's the name of that place? A swimming hole built from stones and fed by a nearby creek or river? All the cool kids were there, and me by accident.
Ive always had fond regards for the Republic of Texas
We grow Lavender and pecans (we say pee-cans) so that the other southerners know we’re the truth and the way. And we keep cattle and goats together to keep the land happy for the deer and Axis
