@monarchist @Palky55 @heretical_i @freepatriot This is true... but many times, this leaves out the questions "beacause", which then brings to light differences in goals, values and method.
Focusing on what works I think is one of the major contributions of the US to philosophy in the 19:th century, pragmatism.

Do note that for some transhumanists, this, coupled with empiricism, is a very painful approach, since it invalidates the multiple world interpretation of quantum physics, since other worlds never can be proven empirically, since there by definition, is no causal connection to this world.
So keep that in mind if you debate transhumanists who talk about the "fact" that multiple worlds/universes have been proven.
