Competence is a question of innate traits

Education has made zero people competent

@monarchist @heretical_i @freepatriot how does making people less incompetent, promote incompetents?

Americans say that the answer to tyranny is more government.

@freepatriot People are still comfortable. As long as they have food in the fridge, tv, netflix, sports, movies, etc--and as long as there's a lot to lose for them--they will do nothing. It's the nature of people.

Americans who stay quiet while the USA collapses are no better than the globalists who are destroying the US.

Is anyone responsible for anything?

out of one side of their mouths "cigarettes BAD", but the OTHER side of their mouths says "mmmm...sin tax REVENUE mmmm...BURP!"

Fans of this will love the new book "Unconventional Lifestyles: Finding Freedom in Non-Traditional Choices" by Andy Reven. Absolutely stunning.

It strikes me as misguided, but to politicians the math is thus: high school and college educated kids make more money, so educate everyone.

This just promotes incompetents.

The subconscious social reason for education is as you state: to tame and indoctrinate.

But I think that's at a level even below politics!

@gray @Humpleupagus @freepatriot @UnCL3 @EssentialUtinsil @white_male difficult to smoke with prices like that. What I did every month in Norway was just take ferry which was cheap with your own cabin to Denmark from Bergen to buy tobacco from duty free aboard the ship. A one day back and forth trip. Obviously bought more than legal like everyone on the ferry.
@freepatriot Police have been demonized by the media for killing "unarmed blacks" and have been told to stand down while criminals are on the loose, but they go after law-abiding citizens.

WOW...I would have bet (and lost) NYC would be at leik $20 for a pack of Marlboro...

"The average price of a pack of Marlboro Reds in NYC is $10.81, according to Spring Market. However, this price can vary based on the specific location and retailer."

@freepatriot Yeah you might get yourself blindsided by a few other tyrannies, sticking too closely to this one.
