Europe needs war. You already had the finance ministers of France and Germany say that they may need IMF bailouts. This is why they want war. It’s a distraction.

Without war, people are going to figure out what the hell is going on. My pension fund is gone. Everything is defaulting. What’s going to happen? They are basically going to be storming the parliament with pitch forks.

What begins as temporary becomes permanent. What is justified as exceptional becomes routine. And what is done to non-citizens has an uncanny way of expanding—especially when dissent, protest, or noncompliance are rebranded as threats to national security.

"Whatever happens,
We have got,
The Maxim gun,
And they have not"
- Belloc Hillaire

Storming of parliaments not possible in EU/UK/AU/NZ, the firepower disparity is too great.

A general strike is more plausible (and feared), as is a slide into grey markets, Bitcoin, and state capacity implosion

They get you in a camp you are likely done/dead soon so really, nothing to lose.

Sure many of us will die at this point but on our terms and……,take some with you for spite.

To say we live in chaotic, disquieting, and sinister times is undeniable. Its truthfulness is revealed in the great sense of foreboding evident among the population of the United States. Everyone I know feels it.

The forces of history and chance, always powerful although often ignored as people pursue private happiness, at times gather into a great and obvious storm that sets people back on their heels. It becomes impossible to discount. Now is such a time.

I do not believe that Trump will be allowed or able to finish his term of office.

The only war that should be fought is against our own government.

In the history of American democracy, we have had undisciplined presidents. We have had inexperienced presidents. We have had amoral presidents. Rarely if ever before have we had them all at once.
