Wow.

Americans are so batshit insane now that Americans scream the US collapse is wonderful because Americans will starve to death.

Americans think Buddhist monks are allowed to have homosexual sex.

@freepatriot My rebuttal: a bug.

IIRC at the end of a comedy performance if johnny liked you he would invite you over to the couch. ... He didn't invite her over to the couch.
Also remember thin women, everybody?
If people from Norway are White, then why don't they speak English? 🙄
@toiletpaper @Tony @freepatriot @d9dba0e072bdb353dfb0020de159126af47e69e133ea91bbd48e8bede37320e2 @WilhelmIII @placebo @k Of your impressive list, I really only see two remotely qualify as Holy Fathers in our (True Orthodox) Communion; the first two as a matter of fact.

> You mean Holy Fathers like Saint Constantine who murdered his son and boiled his wife alive in a bathtub, in addition to the violent suppression of Pagan religions and philosophies and the destruction of temples, murdering of priests, etc? Or maybe Saint Cyril of Alexandria who did likewise, as well as directing a mob of Parabalini terrorists to murder the priestess Hypatia by flaying her alive with roofing tiles and then burning her as a human sacrifice?

In the first instance, St. Constantine held the absolute Power of State, bound inextricably with his person, for decades. In the case of St. Cyril of Alexandria, it’s quite a bit less so; but he too wielded very significant political power and influence that’s not at all easy to relate to; he was a ruler of the Ancient World.
People in positions such as these are subjected to mind-boggling political pressures and national security issues. Maybe life isn’t fair; but world leaders are typically judged by the successes and/or failures of their reign, moreso than their personal follies. Did the nation prosper, or languish ? I’m sure you understand.
No doubt the Almighty God shall judge the kings of the earth; but it’s silly to conflate statecraft with the Faith of the Holy Fathers.

> No True Scotsman, amirite? They were all reading the same book, whose contents were decided upon by the Holy Fathers you speak of, along with a track record of whenever possible violently murdering anyone who disagreed with their interpretation.

My original point still stands, whether or not you handwave it away like some mere fallacy. Traditional Christianity completed the Ancient Faith of All
Man. It’s not our responsibility to justify all possible deviations therefrom. I doubt you’d dispute this when it comes to basically anything other than Christianity.
The fact that the vast bulk of your arguments obviously assume heretical Papism as the “Traditional” position makes it evident we differ in what we both respectively mean by these terms. We likely share more in common regarding the direction Western Christianity took, than either of us realize.

Wow.

Americans say people from Norway are not white.
