In our town, there was an old crappy hotel. It was like 15 cents a night or something like that. It was full of old men.
They came in and condemned it. Said it wasn't safe. Said it was dangerous for the old men.
So then there were old men wandering the streets at night, breaking into trucks to sleep, sneaking into garages to sleep.
But all those goody-two shoes got to feel good about shutting down that dangerous old hotel and keeping those old men "safe".
What big hearts.
