@monarchist @freepatriot So you don't see culture as "lessons learned" on the systems/society level?

A case can certainly be made for groups posessing knowledge that no single individual does. For instance, no single individual knows everything that goes into producing a pencil. Only groups of people know that.

However!

This I suspect could be solved through definition of the words to encompass both views.

@monarchist @freepatriot Maybe you are a compatibilist? And yes, this is a "technical" philosophical question, since if I know where you stand on this, it is easier for me to understand your reasoning around free will, traits, genetics etc.

@monarchist @freepatriot Oh boy did you just step on a philosophical mine. ;) I agree that there is proof or evidence of an external world, but there is no more certain way to kick a philosophical hornets nest than to claim there is proof of the external world! ;)

@h4890 @freepatriot

Nietzsche upgraded the Christian view: "ressentiment" (some frog word) is where humans go wrong.

Do for yourself, not against others, or something like that.

Good points, as usual. We must get you into a Swedish death metal band.

@h4890 @freepatriot

As a nihilist, I both affirm relativism and what relativity affirms, which is the existence of a consistent external reality.

The elites encourage the 99% to be immoral, but anyone who dares to criticize the ruling class is attacked for being immoral.

@h4890 @freepatriot

Humans do not learn as groups, but individuals learn, and the ones who do not learn have to be filtered out.

Sad but true.

@h4890 @freepatriot

This is a technical question in philosophy and the answer is that I think free will is gibberish but we have limited choice.

Limited by: genetics/intellect, character, experience, and physical limits (sickness).

INTPs rule the world.

The elites encourage the 99% to be immoral, but anyone who dares to criticize the ruling class is attacked for being immoral.

@freepatriot

> globalists want kill off the 99%

When did they say this? #Globalism and #Antinatalism is a ven diagram, but it ain't a circle.

The problem is not equality.

The problem is that the globalists want kill off the 99%.

@freepatriot

In democracy, no, because we are already "equal."

Americans say the collapse of the US will only touch other people.

@monarchist @freepatriot Are you a determinist when it comes to the question of free will?

@monarchist @freepatriot Haha. Well, envy is truly the enemy of life and human civilization. The old christians were very wise in spotting this, and making it a sin. Envy tends to punish yourself more than it makes you punish others. It should be purged out of the psyche.

Being content with what you have is an enormously powerful weapon when it comes to living a happy life.

I always try to think about how greatful I am for having food for the day and a roof over my head.
