Generally speaking, the right believes in equality of opportunity. Everyone has an equal opportunity to compete in any given market, and the best players win. The outcomes are not equal and are not intended to be. The keyword is opportunity and the right sees life as a positive sum game.
The left believes in equality of outcome across genders, races and orientations (hence intersectionality because it's a complex of ill-defined groups). When natural law delivers differences in outcomes across any specific market (eg. the market for CEOs) the left claims discrimination and ignores the differences in work ethic, natural talent, individual preferences, etc. This is where you get concepts like quotas and the "wage gap." The keyword is outcomes and the left sees life as a zero sum game.
