@Humpleupagus @freepatriot @monarchist that words don’t hurt is biggest cope in internet culture. Our brains is wired to get triggered by any hostility, the senses, include the eyes reading and ears hearing, giving a signal to brain, which causes massive butthurt. That’s how we function as species. Of course once you get used to hearing something very often it no longer hurts as bad, but something said to you in the worst moments is going to cause massive butthurt.
