@monarchist @freepatriot I think, if Nietzsche and Schopenhauer are taught at all, it is as history of philosophy and nothing else.

When I studied philosophy, it was mostly modern philosophers (let's say from the 1920s and on wards) and the theme was how to apply each philosophic field within an engineering setting. Nietzsche & Co I had to study at home because I enjoy it.

It is true... most people today seem to work very hard in order not to have to think. =/
