Libertarians think that they should give up defending freedom because Americans hate liberty, but Libertarians should keep resisting tyranny for selfish reasons.
While the elites control the money, government, and media, the 99% have the numbers.
One Libertarian may not be able to resist being sent to the concentration camps, but one million people might.
Trump’s approval rating is going to fall noticeably over the next couple of weeks.
Food inflation is completely out of control.
Household name companies are announcing that they are raising prices by +25% every other day.
Retailer price increases are front cover financial news every morning.
And these are all items that people buy weekly. So they will notice the price increases. It’s not like a car where you might not feel it if you hadn’t bought a car this year.
More broadly, people need both a goal/meaning and stability/culture.
Traditionally libertarians deny these two.
Of course, the Left has false substitutes for both (symbols and government).
That was kind of Plato's point: once agreement on goal goes away, societies manipulate via money, and that induces resentment which leads to individualism which turns everyone into a user. At that point, civilization is impossible and degeneration takes over until hominid status is reached.
Humans have been doing this for years, and it is how we got monkeys and apes who have a lot of human traits, not the other way around.
I think humans evolved from a cross between hamsters and possums, but that's metaphorical.
I see a path forward however
1. End the socialism
2. End the diversity
3. Cut government size
4. Cut government roles
5. Let culture breathe
People if they search their hearts and guts find they want mono-ethnic kingdoms where everyone does something useful or gets driven out to Russia.
This is why I am anti-bureaucratic: men not laws.
Find the good people and promote them.
