@freepatriot the obverse: Religious folk are *only* moral because they believe in punishment after death. They fear if there's no punishment threatened, they'll run amok and be immoral.

it's such a childish mentality. It also leads to thinking that UBI means everyone will quit and play video games all day.

i don't really care about either, tbh; i just don't like the argument, it's just the inverse of what atheists say, and that's just lazy.

You might feel encouraged if you read about someone crossing borders with a drone or a balloon or see somebody yelling at a cop or see someone throwing a blanket over a barbed wire fence to get into a park.
