Reading Micheal Malice’s fantastic book “The White Pill”. Revelatory not so much in his conclusions, but in the extensive detail of the insanity and abuses of Soviet Russia from Lenin to Stalin.
His take away is impossible for even unfree people to comprehend how bad existence can be in a severe totalitarian state.
My summation it is a place where insanity has the final and only word.

If I want to buy, own and drive an ICE vehicle or a plug-in hybrid or EV or an assortment of them, I will do exactly that.
Plus I will modify those vehicles for better performance and to go further than the factory standards. Why go 300-500 miles when I can get 350-1000 or more? Why be satisfied with mundane when I can do better?
