A person does not need the media to notice how the cost of living has caused a crisis for many Americans. I hear it from people everyday. Rents are extremely high. I am watching seniors having to find places to live because they are being priced out of their apartments.

Many have nowhere to go. Groceries and utilities, and gasoline, are breaking people.

Economy hasn’t been great for some time, despite the ‘favorable’ data that is pushed.

Democracy extends the sphere of individual freedom, socialism restricts it. Democracy attaches all possible value to each man; socialism makes each man a mere agent, a mere number.

Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word: equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude.

Americans scream toothpicks will never be outlawed because the price of building more prisons is too expensive, but did the costs of jails stop lawmakers from banning straws?

Does anyone get the feeling that if our overlords decreed that everyone must have their thumbs amputated, Americans would agree that the law makes sense and must be obeyed?
