For whoever needs reminding, there is no "accused of domestic violence" exception to your Bill of Rights, any more than there is an "except for Black people" or "except for lesbians". There's not even an "unless it displeaseth the rulers" exception like there is in France, and in my State constitution here in AU.
Perhaps the US should have such an exception, but then the govt would have to take such a proposed amendment to a referendum, and clearly they don't want to.
Clarence Thomas may be the last SCOTUS judge worthy of the name...

If you can't change a corrupt system, why be a part of it?
