@freepatriot Wow. I never thought of it that way. Now I will have the blues too.. did you know that African Americans invented blues? And everything else.. but blues was first. They were sad because of slavery.. and one of them accidentally hit a flat 5 note while singing and picking cotton. That’s where music comes from.

Well, you Trumpy folks are certainly happy today. Your Man starts his 2nd reign today.
Me? I got the Inauguration Day blues. You’ll have the blues someday also because all politicians will eventually disappoint you.
Am I glad it’s not the Ho being Inaugurated? Well, hell yes!!!
But, I (once again) did NOT vote in this election cycle. I have said for years — when you vote, you vote for your own demise.
You’re simply choosing one Taskmaster over another Taskmaster.

Governments are in the flimflam business.
Pared down to the bare essentials, governments can be very useful in passing and enforcing a small number of very basic laws.
These laws should be limited to policing those who would seek to aggress against others, or their property. Governments may also have a value in providing protection from invasion.
And that’s about it. Beyond that, the private sector can, and almost always does, do a better job at virtually everything else.
The next era of life in the United States promised to be a sobering one, as Americans learned today that an elderly dementia patient named Biden had been cruelly evicted from his own home.
