Verse 1

In the shadows of the city streets,

Where the whispers of the lost still meet,

A heart beats loud against the walls,

Yearning for the light as the darkness calls.

Chains of tyranny hold on tight,

But deep within, there's a spark of fight.

Chorus

Break the chains, rise above,

With cries of courage, we’ll learn to love.

For every soul that yearns to be free,

We'll stand united, in liberty.

If you said that the government was wiretapping your phone in 1999, everybody would have called you a nutjob.

Now if you say that the government is wiretapping your phone, no one cares.

How can Americans sleep at night now or look in a mirror without feeling disgusted and ashamed?

Americans think that warrantless NSA wiretapping is constitutional.

You can't argue with Nazis and Commies because they don't believe in the issues they support. They only care about control.

If you said that the government was wiretapping your phone in 1999, everybody would have called you a nutjob.

Now if you say that the government is wiretapping your phone, no one cares.

How can Americans sleep at night now or look in a mirror without feeling disgusted and ashamed?

Being vaccinated doesn't mean that you support mandatory vaccines.

Being Christian doesn't mean that you lose your free will to sin.

Americans scream that the answer to the police state is more tyranny.
