@freepatriot USA doesn't want Europe to make nice with Russia. If Europe, Russia, and China make nice then nobody needs America anymore. The British Empire saw this threat years ago and threw away the chance to deal with Germany.

I actually lived a mile away from a river in Missouri, not the Missouri river itself but in the rural Ozarks of the country, lots of small farms and homesteads scattered about, average property around 15 to 30 acres.
