Americans used to think hippies were lazy fruits for dropping out during the Vietnam War, but maybe the hippies had the right idea after all.

If you can't change a corrupt system, why be a part of it?

Bootlicker pictured as a skinhead.

Are skinheads known to be licking boots?

Pretty sure they aren't
They have been confused for National Socialists
based on the National Socialist German Workers Party.

But they were known for their bravery.

For 13 years they had to fight for their lives with their bare hands against communists that attacked them on order from their masters.

Bootlickers are people who hide behind authority. They don't risk their lives for what they believe in.

You know the US is doomed when Americans would rather attack those who defend freedom instead of criticizing the government that is enslaving them.

Funny thing about Atlas Shrugged in comparison to Fountainhead. It's often the case that Ayn readers either really like one or the other.

Fountainhead is a great book. Atlas Shrugged got very redundant, and the characters were like cardboard to me. Ayn went on to just write nonfiction essay books after Atlas Shrugged.

If Atlas Shrugged were cut to a third of its size, it would be much better.

I'd recommend We the Living and Anthem over Atlas Shrugged.
