They are enabled. Excused. Defended. Normalized. Until their behavior becomes the standard.

The war had absorbed me completely. I make no apologies for that – it’s THE biggest thing happening on the planet, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. But I do feel it’s coming to some kind of focal point.

@freepatriot taxpayer or citizen? Because not all citizens are taxpayers, whether they are too poor or young or old or something. US debt is insane regardless.

The oddest part of watching the world come apart is that the means of stopping it is so easy, but no one wants to do it.

$39 trillion in national debt. $357,000 per taxpayer. Debt-to-GDP at 124% — double what it was in 2000. And that’s before the unfunded liabilities. North of $200 trillion when factoring Social Security, Medicare, federal pensions when you count what Washington has promised and has no intention of honouring.

It’s a very strange thing to hear someone whine about being punched in the face after they walked up to someone and cold-cocked them without warning. That is what the state of Israel and its apologists are doing right now.

We bought old house that looked a little rough. Then we built the home we wanted inside even has another layer of stud walls on exterior walls. The tax man still thinks we are poor. The neighbors are fantastic old people.
