JD Vance (trying to explain things): gosh, the Iranians were CONFUSED and agreed to a ceasefire that DIDN'T include Lebanon. Haha, what a goof!

Do you think they're bound by that agreement, then, that was in your mind but not theirs? What level of scammer legalism is this guy on? If there's no agreement, then there's no agreement.

Gosh, maybe it's a good idea to not perfidiously attack during negotiations, and not kill negotiators, so that you can have a formal document that people actually stick to because it's actually been accepted. Your handshake agreement that's only in your mind is really not a magical contract that's directly enforced by the Will of the Heavens.

@apropos JD Vance I think comes off mostly as Trumps little lap dog. I don't think he is the future of the republican party.

@h4890 VPs are rarely the future to begin with, but yeah.

The cycle of US politics is like a bad game of DOTA, the winner is not decided by skill at winning but by who worked harder to throw the game. In US politics this is: who betrayed America the hardest and most recently? So it's hard to project very far into the future, because the parties have an unlimited capacity and willingness for betrayal. Although Democrats should easily sweep the midterms, that could lead into two years of Democrats sending entire American families to be organ-harvested right in Israeli hospitals next to the recipient. There's no bottom.

@apropos Yes, it does seem as if the democrat should be able to win the midterms by simply not saying anything at all and just sitting there.

What I am wondering about is if they will insist on some woke SJW for president, repeating their previous mistake, or if they will elect a white heterosexual man, 50 years old, who's mission will be to basically again not say anything controversial.

Time will tell!
