Got myself a new gate opener system. Controller, light barrier, actuators - full kit.
Called an installer that was actually recommended to me.
The man is "working" on the thing for like an hour and a half now, he managed to take down the old actuators, disconnect the old controller and in the meantime he already asked me if happen to have a multimeter, then he asked if I have an arc welder, and then if I don't mind doing the welds, because he's not very good at that.

@ThatCrazyDude Handymen... they are so cute. Recently I asked about the cost of materials, and was told 1000 USD. After the work was done, it was 2000 USD. F*ckers! And they are supposed to be working with this, and do not know the cost?
Well, I am not surprised that math is not their strong area.
@h4890 yeah... But to call the specimen I have here "handyman" is a bit of an overstatement. I mean, he is a man, but that handy part..... Ya know 🤣
