If anyone's interesting in chipping in on a VPS in panama with not-blacklisted IP for private big brother escaping and shit (private VPN) let me know.
But to make it clear: I'm not looking for people who need a burner IP for torrentung and shit (you have commercial VPNs for that, that's why they tend to get blacklisted), and I'm not coding an app - it will be off the shelf wireguard client. You give me your public key and I give you a config file - nothing more

@ThatCrazyDude Just out of curiousity, why not tor?

@h4890 because tor won't give you the bandwidth. I mean, it works great and all, but you'd be lucky to get 500kbps trough the thing. Also, most of the exit nodes are already blacklisted by all major services. So while you maintain privacy, in most cases it does you no good, unless all you want is basic web browsing and email

@ThatCrazyDude Ahh got it. Yes, that makes sense. I only use it for basic browsing, and to get around geo fencing. When it comes to the bandwidth however, I have never experienced problems. I regularly stream TV over tor without any problems.

I also take regular backups, sometimes 5-10 GB over tor as well without any problems.
