I started Oculus while I was living in a trailer working a minimum wage job. I spent years developing the technology and sold it less than 18 months after hiring my first employees. Most of the $2.3B purchase went to them on account of our shared ownership structure.

Wish all you want, but you just aren't correct on this. Individual people create billions of dollars in value all the time.

@palmerluckey This is the way! I think no one can _seriously_ doubt that individuals can create enormous value. The ones that do, do it because it fits their ideological narrative of socialism, where the individual is just reduced to a small machine component. But that doesn't work. History has proven this to us again and again. Yet, for some reason politicians love to try that failed experiment again and again with the same disastrous results.
