@icare4america I put Irish butter in my coffee every morning. Can’t do the coconut oil though.

@Kat @icare4america Butter in coffee? Is this a new thing? Never heard of before.

@h4890 @icare4america apparently butter in coffee to get your fat intake is an old Navy Seal thing?? The butter and coconut oil in it is called Bulletproof coffee and it was a part of a KETO diet plan.

@Kat @icare4america Ahh... it stirs a vague memory of some silicon valley trend that was once en vogue!

Sideeffects aside, does it taste good?

@h4890 @icare4america I don’t notice the taste much but for maybe a slight nutty flavor? Hard to describe. It is not oily tasting like you would think. Originally they put the butter and coconut oil and coffee in a blender. I’ll use a milk frother wand but it can make a mess if you don’t pay attention. Usually I just scoop a baby spoon of butter and stir until melted. It’s supposed to help with your hunger and satiate you.

@Kat @icare4america Makes sense. I do the same with oat meal. Small scoop of butter, and it works.

Now I remember... the silicon valley guys I think had some tibetan yak butter or something in their tea. I think that was the trend.
