@matthew @leanderlindahl This is interesting. As an american, why do you think that you should switch away from silicon valley?

In europe, people are scared of Trump, but that is just politics.

Personally, I'm always in favour of decentralization. Both when it comes to technology, and of power.

What is your opinion on this?

Decentralization is a good motivation.

For me, I do not think that the big tech companies in Silicon Valley are in alignment with the values or goals of most Americans.

If that's true, we should also stop using them (or use them less) to put economic pressure on them or allow alternatives to flourish.

I am not scared of Trump, but I sure do not like his actions concerning the war with Iran and I think he's let down most of the people who voted for him by failing to do what he said he'd do (stay out of wars, Make America Great Again, et cetera).

So how do you think about the next election? Are you disappointed enough in Trump to consider voting for the opposition, or are you hoping that the republicans will come up with a better candidate next time?
