@elston_ When I lived in the US, ages ago, it was common for one part of a couple to have some kind of visa, while the wife did not. Don't ask me how that happened. But many wives were then living illegally, or they went to canada every n months or so to reset the tourist status.
I have zero sympathy for those that do the illegal immigration two-step regardless of who they are. Deport.
