@elston_ Hmm, you seem to be very balanced in your views. Who do you think will try to replace Trump in the next presidential election? And do you think the republicans will win the mid terms?

My favourite conspiracy theory is that he was tricked my the jews into the disastrous iran campaign. They told him he'd get a peace prize, and that the natives would rise instantly and liberate themselves, and that he would become the hero.

An irresistible scenario for Trump!

@surfhosting What about ditching the phone and go with VoIP? Then just run linphone on your laptop. If you need something on the go, you could buy something like the FLX1s from furilabs.com/.

I'm lucky... I was able to flee to the single operator left in my country that support my old Nokia 110 4G, so there I will stay until late 2027 when they shut down dumbphones. After that, it will probably be VoIP for me.

@JoWa Men klimaaaaaatet! Det är klimaaaatet! :SHHHEEEIIIITT:

@matthew @nixCraft each request short, one function, or 10-20 lines of code at most, and 2. make sure that what you ask for is testable and checkable.

Sticking to 3.1 and 3.2 above, Ai has saved me time when I had to write boring scraper scripts or transform xml to some other format.

@matthew @nixCraft I think we'll see an increase in exploits and data leaks at the companies who rely too much on vibe coded products.

Personally I've successfully used Ai for the following things:

1. Generate b.s. documents that authorities demand.
2. Converting short and concise informational emails to convoluted b.s. emails, when people wanted the same information in a longer format.
3. As help when scripting, but with two golden rules... 1. keep

But there is a problem here, and that is that hte guardian is a very leftist newspaper, so can we trust the information?

On the other hand... I have personally interacted with exile iranians, and the figures I have heard is about 30k dead in the recent protests, which seems to match up with the guardian.

@elston_ Wrong!

"And it came to pass that there was a great leader named Trump, who was a builder of walls and a maker of great deals. The people loved him, for he was a man of action and a bringer of prosperity. He built a great wall around the city, and the people were safe from the threats of their enemies. And the leader Trump was praised by all, for he was a strong and wise ruler".

@ChrisMayLA6 This sounds very plausible. It seems like we are heading to a more multi-polar world than ever, with small blocks that each are more or less under performing.

@elston_ He does. No question about it. Do you doubt it? Then Trump will deport you! ✝️ :SHHHEEEIIIITT:

@wdlindsy I wouldn't be so quick to judge. He has ended 8 wars! That's more than any modern european leader has ever done. He truly is the prince of peace! 🇮🇱 🇺🇸 ✝️

Wife and decided to pull the kid out of public school and begin the home schooling. This is going to be an undertaking for the wife but it will be the best outcome for our kid. Public schools are out of control and the teachers are horrible.

@elston_ We have God and Jesus on our side. Nothing more is necessary! 🇮🇱 🇺🇸 ✝️

@ChrisMayLA6 Given its demographics, china will decline in importance within the next 10-20 years. Of course they will still be significant, but I think for the moment, what we are seeing, is china at its peak.

The question will then be... as china declines, and as US declines due to its debt and broken political system, who will fill the void?

The only serious contender I can see if india.

Apart from that, I only see an ever more fractured and multi-polar world order.
