As I've been saying for a while now, Japan is experiencing the same mass alienation program that all Western countries have been going through for decades. But due to Japan's strict immigration culture, the effect is mostly achieved via tourism. The number of Japanese voices on social media who feel like strangers in their own country keep increasing.
And not to blame the Chinese for everything, the anime phenomenon swept countless Westerners to the coasts of Japan, who in their liberal and rootless minds confuse their liking of the entertainment with a calling to visit or even live in Japan, trampling into someone's home like uninvited guests. And here a recording of the same street from 2025. The difference is shocking as almost no Japanese can be seen there today, while passage has become difficult due to the sheer amount of people. I can only repeat the words in the screenshot, Japan needs to wake up.
