• Fwd from @ Victory in the East In elections to the German state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt , the far-right "Alternative for #Germany" achieved the largest victory in its history: according to preliminary official results, the #AfD garnered 43.8% of votes. The party more than doubled its result compared to 2021 and became the leading force in the East German state with a population of 2.1 million.
