#Russia and North #Korea opened their first cross-border road bridge, spanning the Tumen River. This crossing is expected to boost trade and provide year-round motor vehicle traffic between the two nations. The only previous border crossing was the “Friendship” railroad bridge across the Tumen River. Construction of the new bridge began in April 2025 under an agreement signed by #Moscow and Pyongyang in 2024.
