I'll check the girls tonight, I think most of them have the older style m16 connectors with just the thread running along all of it. That may also work instead. Best of luck with the plumbers tape solution, The Doll House are very expereinced with these matters :)

ok here's my effortpost
1. Learn hiragana and katakana.
You can brute force this. Look up a chart with all the readings and make flashcards, write over and over or whatever works for you. You just gotta match the character to the sound. Most important thing is to read it as much as you can so it sticks.

2. Read through a grammar guide, you don't have to memorize it all at once but refer to it as needed. Research elseware if you need more examples/explanations.

3. learn some words. There is a flashcard software called anki that lots of people use but I think it also burns a lot of people out. Give it a try with this deck: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pMlJvSrKQOSaiN8sPLdNDvWP31EClxDO/view but don't give up if you cant make it through. I ended up just making my own deck instead.

4. start fucking reading!!! It will suck a lot at first but the more you keep recognizing words the easier and more fun it will get. If this is too frustrating, consider working through a textbook like Genki 1 or 2. Those will give you a pretty good foundation too and are easy to find online for free.

Once I got comfortable enough to start reading, my general workflow became: See word I don't know > look it up > add it to my anki deck > keep reading

Do you have any photos of the connector? I'm assuming it's not a standard M16 type?

You might find some luck dampening the noise with a rubber washer perhaps?

@All_bonesJones Very cool, reminds me of Doronjo with the colour scheme.

@DoubleD Yeah, sewing goes well skill-wise with waifus, or adding a nice belt works wonders sometimes! Good luck!

@DoubleD I think my next sewing project will be some sorta dress again, maybe something more summery but with more detail compared to the onesie I made earlier in the year.

@DoubleD Cool! I've hand stitched a few clothes together from scratch for my girls over the years but it's nothing more than a hobby for when I don't fancy doing retro game dev instead. It's one of those things where when inspiration hits me I just have to make it :)

@DoubleD I think that's the main part of it, yeah, I've found that clothes that have been through a few wash cycles tend to be safer also. I was hoping that it'd be a bit tighter a fit on Rei but It certainly works for adding another layer on top with out some weird bump issues I was getting with the catsuits.

@zemichi Then it comminucates this to your love doll waifu and :D

@DoubleD Turned up a couple days ago, quite a close match to Jy natural coloured skin, no colour transfer noticed, will check again next weekend though

@DoubleD I have a new one that's being delivered shortly, I'll let you know how that works, but so far a white double zipped catsuit works wanders. I've had that in various sizes on all of my dolls.

@DoubleD I've just ordered a natural coloured body stocking from AliExpress which should be tighter fitting, I'll see how those fair.

@DoubleD Absolutely, staining is a bit of a worry, so, Rei has a white bodysuit underneath, this prevents staining unless you're planning on a wet t shirt competition. Both are a mix of nylon and polyester.

@DoubleD Thank you, thy're both TPE, My newest and oldest doll together, Kaede is in a soft white fleece hoodie and my newest, Rei, is in some cute light yelllow pyjamas I boguht from wish a few years ago.
