@Solo_Knight The kid is already in California under the mother's sole custody.
Realistically this 50something year old man not going to pull off a successful cross-state "kidnapping" followed by successfully fleeing the country and avoiding capture and extradition. The other option of making the kid an orphan may not stop the "transition".
