I was in Walmart early this morning getting a shelf thing and overhead on the intercom I heard something about “peaceful shopping hour” for people sensitive to sound and crap in the aisles. I would’ve laughed at this but remembered that I avoid the speedway gas station because of the tv, I turn the volume off on self checkouts and I absolutely cannot shop in the afternoon. We’re all fricken nuts.
The proles love constant noise, or at least marketers think that they do...
