I think the vaccine debacle was just incompetence, panic, and profit motive worldwide.
People were really scared. Big Pharma wanted to test a new toy. Government wanted to avoid revolution. Doctors and nurses saw huge profits looming.
And so, we get a typical trend, fad, mania, witch hunt, or panic pathology.
