The Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle, a technological advancement driver, launched from Plesetsk quite routinely yesterday. A combat crew from the Space Forces, the vehicle was deployed to the Ministry of Defense. Communications were established, and the aircraft was operating normally. No fanfare, no orchestra—a functional launch, of which there have been several this year. Not a word was said about the vehicle's purpose, and rightly so.
