#Russia has significantly increased their shelling of Slovyansk with MLRS and #FPV drones in recent days, resulting in civilian casualties and significant damage to infrastructure. According to local authorities, mass evacuations are underway, with the population of Slovyansk shrinking to around 25,000 (plus another 5,000 in surrounding settlements). Slovyansk had a pre-war population of 105,000. Nearly 8,000 civilians have evacuated the Slovyansk area since the beginning of August.
